For over twenty years, the firm has developed an expertise in matters of restructuring and privatization of public enterprises. This expertise, is in the form of counsel to private enterprises and government and covers varying domains such as; telecommunications, agro-industry, banking, real estate companies, hotel management, mines. As for telecommunications in particular, we assisted the government in elaborating the regulatory framework (elaborating) laws on telecommunications, setting up of regulatory agencies, drafting of interconnection, universal service laws and technical assistance in the privatization of a cable telephone company and the transfer of a mobile telephone license, assisted telecommunications operators bidding for a mobile GSM telephone license , assist an operator take over shares of a certain telecommunications company ,assisted a buyer in the financial arrangements with a view to privatization.
